It's not our fault that we have been horrible. Promise! The grass makes the softballs bounce in odd ways. . . but this week we are going to change that. It's time we win our 2nd game...but we can't do it without your help! We need all the fans we can get. So come on out...9 p.m. FSCC Softball Fields....Thursday...9 p.m.. please.

Captured Image's big announcement is only days away. Hope you all are getting your hopes up!

Team C.I. plays another co-ed softball game at 6 p.m. Thursday. Hope to see some of you there. Last week's power hitter of the game was Carissa Fink. She annihilated a triple late in the game that brought us within 16-14....unfortunately that ended up being the final score. Hopefully we can bring the sticks out again and knock in a few more runs.

Come watch!

Captured Images will debut something huge and exciting in the coming weeks. This beautiful piece of artwork will be the envy of many. Not sure yet how it will be introduced but probably at one of our softball games. Look forward to it...it's going to make your heads spin.

It's Official

The Captured Images Shooters co-ed softball team is now officially 1-2 on the season. We got our first win on Thursday thanks to some timely walks and an in the park homerun. And of course our good looking ladies helped distract the other team yet again. Thanks girls. Fine job.

Captain Gary will be back this coming week (we play 1st Presbyterian at 6 p.m. Thursday) after a long, hard job (mini-vacation) in Mexico. More specifically, Puerto Vallarta for those of you who want to know.

It's sunny outside and nobody really cares to read a blog today so with that thought I'll end this thing.

Game 3 tonight

Well it's about 1/4 the way through the season and Captured Images is 0-2. Pretty bad start if you will. To be optimistic, we've played probably the top 2 teams in the league so far. So we are hoping now to finish 10-2. It's possible!!! We appreciate the cheers we've received so far from our handful (if not less) of fans. Thanks a million. Tonight we face off against a team sponsored by a local liquor store.

Our team has consisted of quite a few faces. The first game was composed of original team members while the second game had a few newcomers (Carissa, Brittany, Erin and Becky to name a few) since others were out of town or afraid of the cold. This week will be similar except some of the normal faces will once again be with us. Hopefully we can score some runs and Git R Done!

The above picture is to honor our hobbled soldier April. As she was running to first last week a crocodile jumped out of the dirt and bit into her leg, causing her to miss the rest of the game and tonight's game as well. April we wish you all the best in your healing. :)

We play at 8 p.m. tonight at FSCC's west softball field. We'd like to see you there. We'd like to hear clapping and hollering too!

Congratulations all area graduates!!! Above are a few shots from the Fort Scott High School and Uniontown High School graduations. The staff at C.I. wish you a great summer and great future!

It went badly for Team C.I. the first few innings of our first co-ed softball game on Thursday. Union Station definitely brought out the whuppin' stick and scored 7 runs in innings uno and dos. The good news is that we came back and scored some runs and played better defense as the game went on. Final tally was 14-6 in 6 innings of glorious play. Sorry but there is no play-by-play in this blog.

Our uniforms (the girls uniforms to be more specific) were a hit. They consisted of super tight shirts and super short shorts (please see above photo of the groovy chick on third base). You can see by the reaction of the opposing team's fans that the garments were a hit. One opponent called them "AWESOME" while another said that we could play them any day of the week. We like to think that it's because of our high level of play but deep down inside we know that it's because of Megan, April, Robyn, Aimee and Kylie that the other team enjoyed playing us so much. Even an opposing female thought the outfits were "cute".

Captured Images Softball

Hey everyone! This is the first of many blogs. We're going to try and update a few times a week. Anyway, our first co-ed softball game is at 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday) at FSCC's softball fields. The first two games have been rained out so hopefully we aren't too horrible when we meet up with Union Station. It's on once that first pitch is thrown! We might not be the best team but we are going to be the best looking team. Check out the photo of the lovely Brittany modeling the uniforms that they girls are going to be sporting. Thankfully the guys don't have to wear those short shorts! Ha! Lucky fans.....

We need all the support we can get so please come out and support us and yell for us. And tell the other team how good we look!
