Well it's about 1/4 the way through the season and Captured Images is 0-2. Pretty bad start if you will. To be optimistic, we've played probably the top 2 teams in the league so far. So we are hoping now to finish 10-2. It's possible!!! We appreciate the cheers we've received so far from our handful (if not less) of fans. Thanks a million. Tonight we face off against a team sponsored by a local liquor store.
Our team has consisted of quite a few faces. The first game was composed of original team members while the second game had a few newcomers (Carissa, Brittany, Erin and Becky to name a few) since others were out of town or afraid of the cold. This week will be similar except some of the normal faces will once again be with us. Hopefully we can score some runs and Git R Done!
The above picture is to honor our hobbled soldier April. As she was running to first last week a crocodile jumped out of the dirt and bit into her leg, causing her to miss the rest of the game and tonight's game as well. April we wish you all the best in your healing. :)
We play at 8 p.m. tonight at FSCC's west softball field. We'd like to see you there. We'd like to hear clapping and hollering too!
